Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape, along with the other products in this family, showcases decades of proven, lab-tested innovation. These high-performance electrical solutions are designed to address the daily challenges customers encounter. 3M is committed to delivering high-performance products that help customers enhance application efficiency and effectiveness, featuring aggressive backings and adhesives designed to withstand extreme temperatures and moisture. For best installation practices, apply in half-lapped layers with enough tension to create a uniform wrap. For most applications, when applied properly, this tension will reduce the tape width to approximately 5/8 of its original size. When taping pigtail splices, wrap the tape beyond the ends of the wires and then fold it back to provide a protective cushion against cut-through.
