The 6-2 AWG to 6-2 AWG Copper Grounding C-Tap Connector provides a permanent, irreversible compression connection for dependable grounding and bonding applications. Its C-shaped design allows installation over continuous parallel copper conductors without cutting the run, simplifying installation while maintaining conductor integrity. Compatible with #6 AWG to #2 AWG solid copper run and tap conductors, #7 AWG to #2 AWG stranded copper conductors, and 1/4 in. copper grounding rods, it is ideal for utility, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. Prefilled with PENETROX™ compound and strip sealed to help minimize oxidation, this connector is suitable for direct burial in earth or concrete. It meets UL 467, UL 486A-486B, and IEEE 837 (2014) requirements for long-lasting grounding performance.
