The Cat® DX42 18V 1 FOR ALL Cordless Random Orbit 5” Sander/6” Polisher uses advanced technology and design to enhance power and performance for pro-grade projects. Built for both standard and demanding tasks, this random orbit sander/polisher features a 3/32” orbital diameter and delivers no-load speeds between 3,000 and 11,000 OPM. Use the Variable Speed Control to precisely manage finishing smoothness. Brake function will stop the pad from spinning to protect work surface from excessive abrasion. With the Universal Fit System, users can quickly switch out any standard 5” (8 hole) hook and loop sandpaper. Use the included (3) 80G sandpaper pieces and 6” Foam Polishing Pad to get started out of the box. Designed to defend against debris, the random orbit sander/polisher features a Dust Shield Switch to protect parts from damage and extend equipment life. The Dust Bag also helps maintain a clear workspace and can be removed to connect the sander/polisher to another dust collection system. During heavy tasks, the Rubber Overmold Grip enhances comfort and control. Includes stackable, easy-transport Slide Lock case with innovative locking and durable construction to defend against dust, water, and impact damage. Power the random orbit sander/polisher with the included Cat® 1 For All batteries and charger. The 1 For ALL battery platform is a rechargeable, interchangeable system that supports all tools within the expansive 18V cordless power tool line from Cat®. For optimal performance, run time, and protection, choose the 5.0Ah Graphene battery over lithium-ion options.
