The H. K. Porter 8690TN is a ratchet type, wire rope cutter that cuts all strands with minimal crushing or distortion. It cuts aircraft cable, EHS guy strand, wire rope, and stainless steel cable. Ratchet type jaws give an increased mechanical advantage over manual cutters. The notched, shear-cut blades hold and lock material in to place. It is 36 In. in length and cuts up to 5/8 In./ 16 mm EHS guy strand, air craft cable, and hard stainless steel cable.
