The First Alert 1046780 is a hardwired, interconnectable combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that features voice and location alerts. It includes a battery backup, advanced sensing technology to reduce nuisance alarms, and can be interconnected with other compatible alarms so that when one sounds, they all sound. Key features include voice alerts that tell you the type of danger and its location, a single test/silence button, and a dust cover for protection during construction.

Ionization alarms are generally more sensitive to fast flaming fires and photoelectric alarms are generally more sensitive to smoldering fires
