This saw easily pierces drywall, ceiling tile, wood, plywood and acoustical tile so that you can create holes for recessed lighting almost anywhere. For durability, the Greenlee recessed light hole saw boasts high-speed steel construction. Its strong back plate also helps ensure its durability and helps increase its lifespan. The saw cuts through many different materials and has a maximum thickness of 7/8-inches. Large holes are possible thanks to its 6-3/8-inch diameter.
