JET 5 x 8 Horizontal J-3230 Bandsaw Wet 1/2 HP 115 V 1Ph

The J-3230, 5-inch x 8-inch Horizontal Bandsaw from JET® is designed to cut through metal and other strong materials. It features a 1/2 hp, single-phase motor that runs the blade at a maximum speed of 200 surface feet per minute for quick job completion. This Jet horizontal bandsaw has a variable-speed selection so you can work at the pace that gives you the control you need for precise results and safer operation. A hydraulic feed system with built-in cooling allows the saw to work for extended periods without overheating. The heavy-duty bandsaw has a heat-treated steel worm drive with a bronze gear surrounded by oil, which is durable enough to stand up to commercial-scale use. The blade automatically shuts off after the cut for added safety. The wheels and handle are easy to grip for more ergonomic comfort. The vise angles up to 45 degrees for repeatable miter cuts.
