The Makita 18 Volt LXT® Brushless Cordless Random Orbit Polisher comes with dual action that gives the option of random orbit with forced rotation or free spin rotation. The high power mode gives corded power and the low power mode ensures longer runtime. Consistent controlling of the speed automatically delivers power to the motor to maintain the speed under load. Five speed settings enable the user to select the speed depending upon the application. The cordless polisher features Star Protection technology, a cordless design that prevents the tangling of the cord and safeguards the delicate surfaces from marring, and a variable speed power trigger gives control while operating. The power switch lock-on mechanism enhances the comfort and ensures continuous use. Anti-restart protection prevents motor start-up when the battery is switched on. A wire mesh intake covers stops the pad fibers from entering the motor. The random orbit polisher comes with 5" hook-and-loop backing plate, 6" hook-and-loop backing plate and a hex wrench.
