The built-in LED charge indicator makes it easy to keep an eye on the battery level. Thanks to smart charging technology, it resists losing charge when stored for a while. The Makita charger helps extend battery life by carefully monitoring current, temperature, and voltage during charging. Plus, Star Protection Computer Controls™ safeguard the battery from overheating, over-discharging, and overloading. Built tough with a shock-absorbing inner liner and a rugged outer case, this battery pack can handle rough conditions. And with 16 contact terminals, it maintains a strong, stable connection—even in tools that vibrate a lot.
