Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Curved Shaft String Trimmer (Bare Tool)

The Makita 18 Volt LXT® cordless curved shaft string trimmer features a BL™ brushless motor that delivers 6,000 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Trimmer has telescoping curved shaft that can adjust from 59-3/4 to 63-3/4 Inch for convenient operation in tight places. It has automatic torque drive technology mode that automatically shifts from 4,000 to 6,000 RPM for extended run time or added power. It offers three speed options, 4,000 RPM at low, 5,000 RPM at medium and 6,000 RPM at high for power management. Easy loading bump and feed trimmer head rotates clockwise to direct the grass clippings away for increased user convenience. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Trimmer featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging and overheating.
