The Makita® LXT® 18 Volts 16 Inch top handle chain saw is built with outer rotor BL™ brushless motor which offers optimum performance as good as that of a 30 cc gas chain saw. This tool designed with variable speed trigger, ensures superior quality cutting at a chain speed of up to 0 to 3940 FPM. It can be used with both thick and hard branches by using torque boost mode. It has an automatic chain lubrication with large oil reservoir that is very easy to adjust as per your requirement. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) safeguards the motor and bearings from dust, debris and water and ensures long lasting usage. Features Star Protection Computer Controls™ which safeguards from excess loading and discharging as well as over-heating. It switches off automatically after 60 seconds, with the help of its auto power-off function of LED on/off switch. Includes rubberized soft grip, 16 Inch sprocket nose guide bar with 3/8 pitch, 0.043 Inch gauge chain as well as captured bar nut and lateral chain tensioning for user convenience. This chain saw has a large oil filling port that comes with a view window for checking bar oil level. The two 18 Volts LXT® lithium-ion batteries offer 36 Volts of enhanced and uninterrupted power. It has limited warranty of 3 years.
