The Makita XGT® rapid optimum charger is specially designed to render key advantages for Makita 40 Volt Max XGT® cordless tool users. This 40 Volt Max XGT® dual port charger charges two batteries at the same time. It assures tool users unparalleled charging efficiency so that batteries spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. Charger featuring a 3-fan design, cools the battery by forcing air through the batteries air vents during the charging process for quick charging. The charger communicates with the batteries built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. It assures category leading charge times that means it charges - two 40 Volt Max XGT® 2.5 Amp-hours batteries in 28 minutes, two 40 Volt Max XGT® 4.0 Amp-hours batteries in 45 minutes and two 40 Volt Max XGT® 5.0 Amp-hours batteries in only 50 minutes.
