Makita 5 in. SJSII Angle Grinder with Tuck Point Guard

The Makita 5 Inch SJS™ II high-power angle grinder is powered by a 10 Amp motor that rotates at 11,000 RPM. SJS™ mechanical clutch system avoids motor and gear damage there by allowing the drive shaft to slip if the wheel is forced to stop. Side handle absorbs vibration thereby allowing to work for long duration without any fatigue. Labyrinth construction offers long lasting durability by preventing the entry of debris to motor, bearings and gears. Zig-zag epoxy is applied to both sides of the armature coil and a powder coating to provide long lasting durability while protecting from debris. Motor fan has enlarged fins that increases air flow and also keeps the running motor cool. It includes 5 Inch cutting/tuck point guard, 5 Inch tuck point blade, grinding guard, side handle, inner flange, lock-nut and wrench. This angle is ideal for cutting, grinding ferrous metal, paint and rust removal, shipyard maintenance, metal polishing, general steel grinding, auto repair work, cutting brick and masonry. The plunge feature ensures maximum material removal and up to 1 Inch cutting depth.
