The Metabo KH 18 LTX BL 28 Q ISA 28 Kit MB 18V Brushless Cordless 1-1/8" SDS-Plus Combination Hammer is designed for maximum productivity, durability, and safety. The combination of 3.0 Joules of impact energy and 4,470 BMP makes this one of the fastest drilling tool in its class. The Metabo 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor is encapsulated to protect against harsh dust particles and delivers maximum drilling performance, efficiency and service life combined with maximum continuous power and extended run times. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) Technology provides ultimate user comfort with decoupled MVT vibration absorbing rear and side handles. The rubber-coated rear handle and large switch design allow for comfortable operation even when wearing heavy work gloves. The Metabo S-Automatic torque-limiting clutch disengages the drive should the bit lock unexpectedly. Kick-back control is provided by the gyroscopic sensor to measure rotation and cuts power if the bit becomes locked. The selector switch allows for three modes of operation: drilling, chiseling, or hammer drilling. In addition, there is a neutral position for setting the face of the chisel in relation to the material being worked. A lock-on switch minimizes fatigue in chiseling applications, but for safety reasons cannot be engaged in drill mode. The Metabo VTC electronics package provides speed stabilization, and soft start for precise penetration of the drill bit. The tool also includes a power-reduction feature, which reduces the impact energy by 30% for cleaner through-holes and better control. In addition, the heavy duty die-cast aluminum gear and motor housing adds stability to the tool for long service life, and the bright LED work light illuminates the work area. The package includes the Metabo ISA 28 Dust Extraction kit, SDS-Plus chuck, keyless chuck, side handle, drilling depth guide, and metaBOX 185 XL.
