The MILWAUKEE® 107‑Piece SAE & Metric Tap & Die PACKOUT™ Set with HEX‑LOK™ 2‑in‑1 Handle combines a broad range of precision‑machined taps and dies with a consolidated handling system for internal and external threading operations. The assortment includes 34 straight‑flute taps and 34 1‑inch hex dies, each featuring laser‑etched size markings for long‑term legibility and a black oxide finish to provide corrosion resistance. The HEX‑LOK™ 2‑in‑1 Handle interfaces with both 1‑inch hex dies and the MILWAUKEE® tap collet, enabling multiple threading functions from a single handle platform. An ergonomic grip and all‑metal construction support controlled operation, durability, and tool‑free changes between taps and dies. Plug taps use a square shank compatible with standard tap handles and tap wrenches and are intended for through‑hole threading applications, while the 1‑inch hex dies fit both the HEX‑LOK™ handle and standard 1‑inch hex die stocks. Designed for threading common metals such as brass, aluminum, and mild steel, the set is packaged in a PACKOUT™ low‑profile compact organizer with a removable tray for organized storage. Cutting fluid is recommended for optimal performance.
