ABSORBICA-I VARIO is an adjustable single lanyard with compact energy absorber designed for progression on a horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) or on an elevated platform, without passing intermediate anchors. It works with users who weigh between 60 and 140 kg. It features the VARIO adjustment system, allowing the lanyard length to be adjusted in order to reduce potential fall height.

Features

Designed for progression on a horizontal lifeline (rope or cable) or on an elevated platform, without passing intermediate anchors

VARIO adjustment system allows the lanyard length to be adjusted from 70 to 167 cm (without connector) in order to reduce potential fall height

Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:

Progressive tearing of the energy absorber webbing limits the impact force on the user. Works with users who weigh between 60 and 140 kg

Designed for use with a maximum length (including connectors) of: 200 cm under the CE EN 355 standard. 183 cm (6 feet) under the ANSI Z359.13

Minimal bulk: compact energy absorber facilitates handling

Durable fabric pouch with a simple opening system protects the energy absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber

Two options for installation on the harness, depending on use:

Two connector options for the end of the lanyard: a locking carabiner or MGO OPEN connector with large gate opening

Meets E EN 355 (meets the requirements of the RFU PPE-R/11.074) - ANSI Z359.13, 12 ft. FF - CSA Z259.11-17 - Compliant with the Japanese standard for fall protection - GB/T 24538: type II Certifications depend on the connectors that are used.
