The RIDGID 700 Power Drive Pipe Threading Machine is one of the most powerful pipe threading tools on the market, cutting fast, accurate threads in seconds. This hand-held pipe thread machine can be used to cut both right and left-handed threads, making it ideal for mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors. The versatile unit’s 12-R die-heads are capable of threading pipes ranging from 1/8 inch to 2 inches (3 mm to 50 mm) in diameter, threading bolts 1/4 inch to 1 inch (6 mm to 25 mm) and driving the 141 and 161 Geared Threaders for larger pipes ranging from 2-1/2 inches to 6 inches (60 mm to 150 mm) in diameter. Designed for both heavy-duty applications and everyday use, this multi-purpose threader can be easily adapted for use as a pipe cutter. The convenient safety arm on the 45178 model delivers the steady, additional support needed to withstand the unit weight and threading forces. Rugged cast aluminum housing and a sturdy carrying case with die head storage minimize wear and tear on this threader and allow for quick and easy transport.
