Sellstrom All-Purpose Passive Welding Helmet with Ratchet Headgear, Super Tuff Nylon, Silver Coated

Originally designed for shipbuilding applications including submarine work, this helmet has since proven effective for other tight, confined space welding applications. Customized leather bib replacements (repl bib # S21100 ) on top and bottom allow the worker to fit in those small spaces while being protected against IR heat, smoke and spatter. Includes 2 In. x 4-1/4 In. spring loaded positive lock flip front - fits 2 In. x 4-1/4 In. filter plate or ADF ( sold separately). Includes a proprietary SUPER KOOL SILVER COATING which keeps the helmet 30% cooler than standard helmets, includes a quick release ratchet headgear with sweatband for added comfort.
