Shop Fox Lathe Chisel Set, 3 Pieces

Shop Fox D3786 3-Piece Lathe Chisel Set. Turn rings and beading all day long with this set of ring tools. Designed to be used both right and left facing, so both sides of the ring or bead can be turned with one tool. The beautiful and naturally finished ash handles feature brass ferrules and measure 10-1/4" long for super control. The overall length of each lathe chisel is 16-1/4" when factoring in the HSS (high-speed steel) blades. HSS has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels. All HSS chisels will require regular sharpening. 8" bench grinders are recommended to maintain the proper curve on the bevel. In addition to the grinder, diamond plates will help in honing the edge of your tools in between each sharpening. The set includes a fitted aluminum case. Like all Shop Fox chisels, the D3786 comes with a 1-year warranty which assures the set is free from factory defects. INCLUDES: 1/4" Radius lathe chisel. 3/8" Radius lathe chisel. 1/2" Radius lathe chisel.
