The powerful STIHL FSA 400 K cordless clearing saw from the STIHL AP system is particularly suitable for professional use in the forest with its short shaft. Professionals in garden and landscaping and municipal companies will also feel comfortable thanks to the short shaft and the standard equipment with the STIHL circular saw blade 200-22. This makes the clearing saw well equipped for clearing bushes, hedges and thin trees, even in tight spaces. Whether for green maintenance in noise-sensitive areas, removing overgrowth and undergrowth, or sawing small trees for the care of young stands, the STIHL FSA 400 K combines ergonomic work with fast progress and a high level of operating and working comfort. The ergonomic two-handle, specially shaped for sawing applications, can be adjusted without tools using the folding clamping device. The 10-point perforated strip for attaching tools and the integrated STIHL anti-vibration system ensure fatigue-free working for long periods. The ergonomic handle allows the speed to be adjusted in 3 stages for maximum efficiency and energy saving. The energy-saving mode is indicated by LEDs. For a long service life, the cordless clearing saw is equipped with a robust housing, a durable steel drive shaft, and an extremely stable aluminum protective tube. In addition, the machine has a gearbox with grease filling screw and protective plug for sawing applications. The air filter with metal grille ensures optimum engine cooling and is easy to clean. “Bare Tools” are sold without batteries or chargers, making them ideal for users who already own compatible power sources. However, if you don’t already have the required battery and charger, you must purchase them separately.

Multifunctional One-Handed Handle: Adjust the speed of the device quickly and easily to the work situation. At lower speeds, energy consumption is reduced, which extends the battery life. Connectivity (Prepared): A Smart Connector 2 A can be mounted in the housing of the device in the prepared position. This is connected to the control unit, which transmits valuable device data to a smartphone, tablet or the nearby STIHL connected box. The recorded data can be viewed via the STIHL connected app and the STIHL connected portal and also benefit from additional functions.
