Stihl Oilomatic Rapid Super 46RS 138E Saw Chain

Stihl Rapid™ Super is an extremely fast-cutting chain. Its cutter and tie strap design reduces vibration levels significantly while still utilizing the aggressive full-chisel design. The razor-edged, square-cornered cutter shape ensures minimum chain friction for an exceptionally smooth and clean cut in hard or frozen wood. It offers excellent cutting and plunge-cutting efficiency. RS chain typically cuts faster than RM chain, but requires careful sharpening and maintenance to continue to perform well. Stihl chain has Oilomatic drive link lubrication slots, which funnels oil directly to the rivet to reduce wear. Stihl chain is also pre-stretched at the factory, which helps eliminate excess adjustments during break in periods. 26RS is part of the Stihl Rapid Super series. 26RS is a fast cutting chisel chain which work best in clean cutting conditions, where there is limited contact with dirt and other abrasive materials. This chain has no significant kickback reduction features, but does has the added benefit of lower vibration levels as compared to the older style 26RS chain. It is recommended for professional use only.
