The Tekton 1/4 Inch Drive x 6.7 Inch Spinner Handle (2.5 Inch Shank) is designed for speed and torque. The handle has a round zone for quick spinning and a tri-lobe zone that provides a secure grip for high-torque driving. The exposed shank is 2.5 inches long to extend your reach into tight spaces. The handle’s red exterior is made of a lightly textured TPE material that is slightly soft and grippy for controlled spinning. The handle materials resist most common shop chemicals. The front end of the handle has a tri-lobe shape that flares out to prevent your hand from slipping while you’re pushing it forward and turning. The handle has a through-hole so you can hang it on a hook. The drive size is engraved in four locations with high-contrast laser markings. The handle is molded around the steel shank, creating a solid connection, and the end of the shank is flat to resist twisting inside the handle. The red handle overmold is made of soft, grippy thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The black handle core is made of hard polypropylene, injection molded around the shank. The shank is alloy steel, through-hardened and tempered, with a matte chrome finish.
