The swivel base design allows for optimum work flexibility with a 120-degree arc of rotation. Double lock downs ensure superior stability while preventing accidental rotation in high-torque maneuvers such as hammer strikes. A 6-inch jaw width provides a large contact area against material for greater holding force without damaging materials. The Wilton bench vise features a 6-inch maximum jaw opening capacity and a 3-inch throat depth to accommodate oversized items. This heavy-duty bench vise provides a large, convenient anvil surface integrated into the design for easy shaping and forming work.
