The Makita 18 Volt LXT® cordless drywall screwdriver features BL™ brushless motor that delivers 0 to 4,000 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Eliminating the carbon brushes, this BL™ brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life. Screwdriver has ergonomically designed rubberized pistol grip with a large 2-finger trigger for increased comfort and convenient use. Tool features Push Drive™ technology that allows driving 2,325 screws. It has adjustable nose piece that provides consistent screw depth. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Screwdriver featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This screwdriver with battery, weighs only 3.8 lb that reduces user fatigue on the job. Tool is integrated with metal gear housing for increased job site durability. Screwdriver has Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) that helps to deliver increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions.
