The Makita cordless 1/2 Inch driver drill tool is specially designed to deliver high torque, power, performance and increased ergonomics in a compact size. Tool featured with a superior power-to-weight ratio, is ideal for a full range of drilling and driving applications. It is powered by a Makita-built 4-pole motor with bigger front end ball bearings that delivers a max torque of 750 Inch-lb. The mechanical 2-speed transmission delivers 0 to 400 and 0 to 2000 RPM that is perfect for a wide range of drilling and fastening applications. Driver drill tool is engineered with new planetary gear system and transmission for increased portability and durability. This 8-7/8 Inch long tool features all metal gears and aluminum gear housing for added durability in harsh job site. The Shift-Lock™ drive system aids in quick shifting between modes. It comes with a dual LED lights with afterglow feature for increased work area illumination. All metal ratcheting chuck prevents bit slippage and improves bit retention. Tool features 21 clutch setting for optimal fastening torque control. It is fitted with rubberized soft grip handle for improved comfort on the job. Driver drill featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating.
