The Makita LXT® cordless portable band saw is powered by a Makita-built motor that delivers faster cutting with variable speed 275 to 530 FPM making it ideal to cut multiple metal materials with ease. It has capacity to cut up to 4-3/4 Inch material and accepts a 44-7/8 Inch blade. Built-in alert light offers added safety by giving over-torque motor protection warning. Large trigger switch with lock-on function ensures continuous use. Variable speed control dial allows the user to alter the speed based on application requirement. Thick protective rubber bumper offers long lasting durability. Built-in LED light allows working with ease in low light conditions. The Makita's star protection computer control protects battery by avoiding over-heating and over-loading. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. The adjustable stopper plate protects material and also offers positive support for accurate cuts.
