The Makita 18V LXT® Quick-Shift Mode™ 4-Speed Impact Driver delivers powerful, precise fastening with up to 1,860 in.-lbs. of max torque and 3,700 RPM. Its brushless motor provides efficient performance with four speed settings for controlled fastening across a wide range of applications. Quick-Shift Mode™ electronically balances speed and torque for improved efficiency, while Tightening Mode (T-Mode) helps prevent damage when driving self-drilling screws into thin-gauge metal. A dual ball-bearing chuck reduces bit wobble and runout, while the one-touch 1/4-inch hex chuck enables fast bit changes. The compact 4-3/4-inch design, rubberized soft grip, and 3.6-lb. weight with battery reduce fatigue. Built-in LED lights improve visibility, and Star Protection Computer Controls™ help protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. “Bare Tools” are sold without batteries or chargers, making them ideal for users who already own compatible power sources. However, if you don’t already have the required battery and charger, you must purchase them separately.
