Makita 18V X2 (36V) LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless String Trimmer (Bare Tool)

The Makita 18 Volt X2 (36 Volt) LXT® Brushless Cordless String Trimmer contains a variable speed power trigger that gives increased control while operating. Steel drive shaft endures rough and tough use, and the reduced vibration level enhances the equipment life. Three operating speeds of 4000 RPM, 5000 RPM, and 6000 RPM facilitate better power management. Zero-emission rating and lower noise ensure smooth maintenance of the trimmer. The cutting swath of 17" helps in increasing productivity. Extreme Protection technology prevents the accumulation of dust and water. Integrated Star Protection technology helps in preventing overheating, over-discharging and overloading of the battery. Automatic torque drive technology helps in the shifting of RPMs for longer runtime, and the reverse rotating mechanism prevents the tangling of grass and weeds and clears the head quickly. The bump-and-feed trimmer head works well with 0.08" or 0.095" line and is easy to load. An adjustable loop on the handle prevents fatigue and gives easy access at different angles.
