The Makita 36 Volt LXT® plunge circular saw features Makita built electronically controlled BL™ brushless motor that delivers 6,300 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Saw has variable speed control dial that optimizes speed from 2,500 to 6,300 RPM for optimum performance in a variety of materials. It has Automatic Speed Change™ technology that helps to adjust cutting speed and torque during cutting for optimum performance. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Circular saw has X2 LXT® technology that delivers 125 cuts per charge in 4x8 sheets of 1/2 Inch plywood per charge using the two 5 Amp-hour batteries. Electric brake allows the tool to reposition faster for enhanced productivity. Saw featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This saw with battery, weighs only 11.2 lb and has rubberized soft grip that reduces user fatigue and provides increased comfort on the job. It has dual front and rear bevel supports that provide added rigidity for precise and accurate bevel cuts. Saw features Auto-start Wireless System (AWS®) that utilizes Bluetooth® technology to control the communication between tool and optional dust extractor wirelessly.
