The Makita cordless 4‑1/2 Inch X‑LOCK angle grinder is run by brushless motor that delivers powerful grinding performance and faster cutting speed. Electronic current limiter ensures that the motor operates efficiently and safely by protecting against overload in high torque application. The X-LOCK quick change system allows for easy wheel changes using simple snap-on mounting and pull release lever. The 16-3/4 Inch long compact construction makes it easy to use in tight spaces. Variable speed control dial enables easy monitoring of operating speed. Auto-start wireless mechanism makes use of Bluetooth technology to facilitate wireless communication between tool and dust extractor. Active feedback-sensing technology monitors the tools performance and detects any sudden changes in rotation speed. An electric brake stops the tool quickly and helps in increasing productivity. An anti-restart protection system prevents accidental start-up and ensures safe operation of the device. Equipped with lock-on slide switch for ease of use. A quick guard rotation improves productivity by allowing tool-free adjustment. Soft start feature ensures a smooth and gradual start-up to prevent damage to the gears. Spiral bevel gears provides smoother engagement between the teeth and improves the overall performance of the tool. A reinforced metal gear housing increases reliability and longevity of the grinder. Wire mesh intake covers protects motor from external elements. The rubberized soft grip gives multiple holding positions for user comfort.
