Makita 40V max XGT Cordless 3 1/4in Planer AWS Capable (Bare Tool)

The Makita 3-1/4 Inch brushless cordless planer is run by a brushless motor that delivers an operating speed of 15,000 RPM and has the capacity to plane 3-1/4 Inch wide and 5/32 Inch deep in a single pass. The 40 Volt 4 Amp-Hours battery has the capacity top plane 311 Feet at a cutting depth of 1/16 Inch. Aluminum base consists of three chamfering grooves for user convenience and the aluminum base provides good stability. Motor keeps the impact of carbon brushes to a minimum to keep the tool cooler. Two-blade cutting head and the double-edge cutting blades enhances the performance of the planer and produces a smooth finish. Spring-loaded design of the stand elevates the base to safeguard the workpiece. Click-depth adjustment knob features an easy-to-read scale with settings from 0 to 5/32 Inch for accurate cutting depth adjustment. Chip ejection feature can be directed either side of the planer. Blade setting mechanism ensures faster blade installation and the electric brake delivers optimum productivity. Auto-Start Wireless system features Bluetooth technology for effortless communication between the tool and the dust extractor. This system ensures the dust extractor works only when the planer is in use. It also enhances the efficiency of the tool on a single charge and minimizes noise at the jobsite. XGT technology prevents overheating, over-discharging and overheating and sustains the operating power in heavy load applications. Ergonomic design of the handle makes it easy to use and the rubberized soft grip minimizes user fatigue. Extreme protection technology ensures good resistance to dust and water in harsh environments.
