Makita 40V max XGT Hedge Trimmer Kit Brushless Cordless 24in Rough Cut

The Makita 40 Volt Max XGT® cordless hedge trimmer kit includes brushless 24 Inch rough cut hedge trimmer (GHU01Z), 4.0 Amp-hour battery (BL4040) and a rapid optimum charger (DC40RA). Hedge trimmer assures zero emissions, lower noise and minimal maintenance. This tool is a welcome solution for professional landscaping clean-up applications. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 4000 SPM for powerful trimming. Tool has 3-speed options to manage power and run time. Trimmer features sharp-edged shear blade to trim through thick, hard branches and a reverse function to clear jams. The hedge trimmer can get up to 3 hours of run time using one 40 Volt max XGT® 4.0 Amp-hour battery. Tool comes with a 5-position rotating rear handle to provide increased comfort during vertical and angle trimming. A tip guard of tool safeguards the end of the cutter bar against hard surfaces. Tool features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) system for improved dust, water resistance and added durability in harsh job site conditions. The power head also features IPX4-rated weather-resistant construction for longer endurance. The XGT® system is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, thus allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site. This system is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication and superior durability features to out power, outsmart and outlast the rest.
