Acme Tools Rochester Packed the House for Rochester Area Builders Networking Night

Acme Tools Rochester Packed the House for Rochester Area Builders Networking Night

Sometimes the best way to test if you built something right is to fill it with people who know exactly what they're looking at. That's what happened when Acme Tools hosted the Rochester Area Builders Networking Night at our new Rochester location, drawing one of the strongest turnouts in recent years.

Builders, contractors, and trade pros packed our 15,500-square-foot showroom to check out tools and talk shop. The Rochester Area Builders gave the event high marks for both the space and the energy. When an organization that's seen every networking event in town says you nailed it, that means something.

What Makes the Rochester Store Different

The showroom at 808 Apache Lane SW spans over 15,500 square feet, packed with power tools from Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, and Bosch. We stock outdoor power equipment, woodworking tools, hand tools, safety gear, and accessories covering every trade from concrete to electrical to plumbing.

The Rochester location also has a full-service department with factory-certified technicians for warranty work, blade sharpening, and tool maintenance. We opened this 12th retail location in August 2025 as our fifth Minnesota store and second new location this year. Based on the turnout at the Rochester Area Builders Networking Night, it's already proving itself.

Why the Rochester Area Builders Networking Night Delivered

The Rochester Area Builders Networking Night isn't just another mixer. It's where residential and commercial builders, remodelers, and industry partners across Southeast Minnesota connect face-to-face—real conversations about what's working, what's not, and where the industry's headed.

Acme Tools has supported the Rochester Area Builders for years, so hosting this event at our new location made sense. When RAB shows up in force and gives the event high marks, that's genuine recognition from pros who know quality.

The conversations matter. Builders compare notes on which brands hold up on job sites. Contractors talk supply chain strategies. People discover new tools or get answers to technical questions. What made this Rochester Area Builders Networking Night stand out was the energy; one of the strongest turnouts in recent years doesn't happen by accident.

Acme Tools & ASSP: Safety Matters

While Rochester hosted builders, our Safety Sales Specialist, Curt Schroeder, hosted an American Society of Safety Professionals chapter meeting in Eagan with 30 to 40 Safety Directors in attendance. The ASSP brings together safety professionals who set standards and protocols for companies across industries. Hosting that meeting put Acme Tools front and center with the people responsible for workplace safety across the region.

Curt represented our commitment to safety, not just as a compliance checkbox, but as a responsibility to our teams and customers. Whether it's PPE, safety equipment, or making sure our tools meet the highest standards, we take it seriously. That's what separates a real partner from just another supplier.

Shop the Tools Contractors Depend On

Here's what fills our Rochester showroom:

Power tool combo kits from Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Makita, cordless drills, impact drivers, circular saws, and reciprocating saws that last years of job-site abuse.

Safety equipment and PPE from 3M, Milwaukee, and Klein, including hard hats, safety glasses, work gloves, respirators, and high-visibility gear that meets industry standards.

Concrete and masonry tools from Bosch, Makita, and Metabo HPT, rotary hammers, demo hammers, concrete saws, and mixers built for heavy-duty work.

Hand tools and storage from GearWrench, Klein, Irwin, Knaack, and Werner, wrenches, pliers, levels, ladders, and toolboxes that pros depend on.

Outdoor power equipment from Stihl, Ego, Toro, and Honda, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws for commercial and residential properties.

Why Acme Tools Shows Up

Events like the Rochester Area Builders Networking Night and the ASSP chapter meeting aren't marketing stunts. They're how Acme Tools operates. We've been in business since 1948, and over 75 years, we've learned that showing up for the community matters as much as stocking the right products.

The building industry in Southeast Minnesota is strong because professionals demand quality and reliability. Acme Tools earns that trust by consistently showing up, hosting events, partnering with safety organizations, and keeping shelves stocked with the tools contractors need.
