Dust control isn't optional anymore — OSHA silica rules require dust extraction on most concrete drilling and cutting, which means the vac and shroud are part of the tool, not an accessory. Stay on one battery platform if you can: M18, XGT, FlexVolt — pick one and stick with it so the batteries swap between your hammer, breaker, and saw. And don't write off corded gear for serious demo work. Long break jobs still belong to corded breakers.
