This Makita 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless 1/2 Inch driver drill tool is specially engineered with an efficient 4-pole motor that delivers 480 Inch-lb of max torque and 25% more speed compare to previous model. Tool features all metal two-speed transmission, which delivers 0 to 600 RPM and 0 to 1900 RPM. This tool effectively delivers power, performance and superior ergonomics in a compact size. The 7-1/4 Inch long compact tool weighs only 3.3 lb with battery, which minimizes operator fatigue and assures superior ergonomics. Ratcheting chuck is designed to avoid bit slippage and enhance bit retention. Dual LED lights with afterglow effectively illuminate the work area for use in dark spaces and close quarters. Driver drill has ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip for enhanced comfort. Driver tool featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) of tool is specially designed for enhanced dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions. Tool has 1/2 Inch steel and 1-1/2 Inch wood drilling capacity.
