The Makita 18 Volt LXT® 1/2" Cordless Driver Drill features a mechanical 2-speed transmission (0 to 600 and 0 to 1900 RPM) that's ideal for a wide range of drilling and driving applications. It delivers superior power, performance, and ergonomics in a compact size along with a fast-charging battery for minimal downtime. The tool features a 4-pole motor, which produces 480 Inch-Lb of max torque and 25% more speed than other conventional models. The compact and ergonomic drill ensures minimal operator fatigue with less weight and superior balance. A soft rubberized grip offers increased comfort on the job. The built-in LED light effectively illuminates the job area to carry out applications in dark spaces and close quarters. The Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) assures improved water and dust resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions. The ratcheting chuck is engineered to avoid bit slippage, thereby improving bit retention. The all-metal gear construction provides increased durability and performance. This driver/drill features Star Protection Computer Controls™ communication technology, which facilitates data exchange in real-time, and monitors conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging, and overheating. The 18V battery assures the fastest charge time while ensuring minimal downtime. The drill comes with an 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion charger (DC18SD), two 18 Volt compact Lithium-Ion batteries, and a tool bag.
