The Makita 40V max XGT® Brushless Backpack Blower (GBU04) delivers 65cc gas-powered performance with less weight, noise, and zero emissions. Producing up to 32N blowing force and 675 CFM, it powers through demanding outdoor cleanup while weighing under 20 lbs. with batteries—up to 23% lighter than comparable gas-powered backpack blowers. The GBU04 is also up to 65% quieter, with a 60 dB(A) sound pressure rating. Its dual-battery system automatically switches to the second XGT® battery for extended runtime, while the variable-speed trigger, cruise control, two power modes, and 10-inch telescoping nozzle provide precise airflow control. A breathable shoulder harness, tool-less handle adjustment, and LED display improve comfort and usability. Powered by Makita 40V max XGT® technology, the GBU04 combines professional-grade power, cordless convenience, advanced brushless motor performance, and durability.
